The Tasty Bites Newsletter began because of the number of participants in my classes who wanted to know what programs were being offered in the area of Food Safety and Quality each month. The first newsletter was sent out in March of 2019. This is a monthly electronic or E-newsletter sent out on the 1st day of each month. The newsletter is sent to 234 people at present and is continuousy added to as requested by participants.Each newsletter consists of a recipe, a current article in the area of food safety, food preservation or food preparation and a list of upcoming events for that month. The majority of the audience for this newsletter is homemakers, restaurant employees and gardeners.
