Panhandle Agriculture e-News is a weekly educational information source for commercial farmers and ranchers 16 Northwest Florida counties.  The purpose of the project is to provide management recommendations, pest alerts, research updates, government program announcements, and notification of upcoming educational events to farmers and ranchers in the Florida Panhandle each week.  A team of forty University of Florida county agricultural agents and state extension specialists contributed articles that were first posted to a website, and then distributed with links in an electronic newsletter via email, and automatically posted through an application to Facebook and Twitter accounts.  In addition to the articles, Facebook and twitter followers also received shared information from other sources.  In 2019, 191 articles were submitted, edited and published on a WordPress blog website.  Links to articles were promoted to clientele through an electronic email newsletter sent out each Friday via email, Facebook and twitter accounts.  The blog site received 344,769 page views (945 /day).  This represents a 20% increase in readership as compared to 2018.  Links to articles were shared with clientele through an electronic email newsletter sent out each Friday to 4,511 subscribers, as well as through dedicated Facebook and twitter accounts, that generated 263K impressions. Mayo served as the managing editor of the project, scheduling and reminding authors, providing design assistance, publishing the articles, and developing the newsletter for email distribution.  Mauldin was the associate editor who reviewed each article for accuracy, grammar, and style. The website is a WordPress site, allowing multiple authors to submit articles for publication.  Website: http://nwdistrict.ifas.ufl.edu/phag/  Through the RSS feed feature of the website, each article was also shared using a dlvr.it automatic social media feed to the Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/FlaPanhandleAgriculture, and twitter:  https://twitter.com/PanhandleAg or @PanhandleAg accounts.
