The Michigan State University Extension Field Crops Team hosted a weekly online meeting for growers and agribusiness professionals during the 2019 growing season called the Virtual Breakfast.  It featured short presentations from various field crops specialists and our agriculture climatologist.  I worked with a local radio station - WRCI in Three Rivers, MI - to produce a weekly summary of the information presented during the Virtual Breakfast.  The spot was then played on Saturday mornings during the growing season.  This radio spot gave me the opportunity not only to share information pertinent to the cropping industry in the region but also to highlight Extension’s value in delivering timely information to the community.
